Our small staff team are mostly dedicating their time to the wellbeing and welfare of our horses, ponies and donkeys, therefore our phone is very often not manned.  You can stay in touch via our Facebook page or send an email directly by clicking – info@lluesthorseandponytrust.co.uk

In February and the start of March the charity’s funds fell to a critical level after paying unexpected large repair bills. The Trustees (directors) made an announcement on Facebook on the 7th March 2023 that Lluest was going to close after 38 years of rescuing and helping equines.

Following some critical short term fundraising, the staff and volunteers put together an initial successful rescue plan, which included a brand new board of Trustee’s to support the staff and lead  Lluest into the future. We now all need to work hard to make Lluest sustainable and prevent this situation happening again in the near future.
