Tywi Valley Open Studios

Hidden in the Tywi Valley at various locations all within 15 miles of Llandeilo are numerous artists all bustling away making their arts and crafts.
Tywi Valley Open Studios was established to enable artists to share their working practices with the general public.  Rarely does anyone get to see who the artist is, where they work or hear why they make what they do. Each year, for a week in July, a group of 40 artists, all with studios within a 15 mile radius of Llandeilo open their working practices to the public. It is your chance to meet the maker and find out about the person behind the scenes – an opportunity for you to see artists working and to ask questions as well as having the opportunity of purchasing your own unique piece of art.
Some artists demonstrate their craft, hold workshops and put on events. The dates and times for these will vary. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 the trail was not held in 2020 or 2021, but artists hope to open their doors once again in 2022.

Yn gudd yn Nyffryn Tywi mewn gwahanol leoliadau i gyd o fewn 15 milltir i Llandeilo mae nifer o artistiaid i gyd yn brysur yn gwneud eu celf a’u crefft.
Sefydlwyd Tywi Valley Open Studios i alluogi artistiaid i rannu eu harferion gwaith gyda’r cyhoedd. Anaml y mae unrhyw un yn cael gweld pwy yw’r artist, ble maen nhw’n gweithio neu’n clywed pam maen nhw’n gwneud yr hyn maen nhw’n ei wneud. Bob blwyddyn, am wythnos ym mis Gorffennaf, mae grŵp o 40 o artistiaid, pob un â stiwdios o fewn radiws 15 milltir i Llandeilo yn agor eu harferion gwaith i’r cyhoedd. Dyma’ch cyfle i gwrdd â’r gwneuthurwr a darganfod am y person y tu ôl i’r llenni – cyfle i chi weld artistiaid yn gweithio a gofyn cwestiynau yn ogystal â chael cyfle i brynu’ch darn unigryw o gelf eich hun.
Mae rhai artistiaid yn arddangos eu crefft, yn cynnal gweithdai ac yn cynnal digwyddiadau. Bydd y dyddiadau a’r amseroedd ar gyfer y rhain yn amrywio. Yn anffodus, oherwydd Covid-19 ni chynhaliwyd y llwybr yn 2020 na 2021, ond mae artistiaid yn gobeithio agor eu drysau unwaith eto yn 2022.
